The Dahua DHI‑NVR5832‑EI is a high‑capacity WizSense Series NVR engineered for demanding surveillance systems. It supports up to 32 IP camera channels with flexible compatibility for high‑resolution streams (up to 32 MP) and efficient recording. The recorder uses Smart H.265+ / H.265 / Smart H.264+ / H.264 / MJPEG compression formats to optimize storage and bandwidth.
Equipped with advanced AI capabilities, the NVR offers face detection & recognition, perimeter protection, and Smart Motion Detection (SMD Plus), helping improve alarm accuracy and reduce false triggers. It can run AI analytics either by recorder processing or from supported AI cameras.
The unit accommodates up to 8 SATA hard drives (each up to 20 TB), supports RAID 0/1/5/6/10, and offers robust storage management for long‑term recording. Dual HDMI and VGA outputs provide flexible multi‑display options, while support for ONVIF and third‑party cameras ensures broad compatibility.
